Our Building

This sketch captures the inspiration for the structure we intend to build. We are making excellent progress building a detailed scale model of the actual designs we have carefully developed with our Founder.

Centro de Ayuda de Asilo offers a welcoming environment, specifically for stranded refugee children and their parents who seek security in the US, but who are now stranded out in the open… on the sometimes dangerous streets of Tijuana.

Ayuda Asilo is only one small part of a larger solution to the growing tragic situation the innocent children who have fled their increasingly dangerous home communities in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala now face. Many organizations are providing relief, each in their own way. We are proud to be moving forward to make our own modest contribution. Please see our Services and FAQ pages to learn more of the specifics of how we propose to help.

Our building is designed to accomplish all the ambitious goals outlined on our Services page. Each aspect of its design is thoughtfully created to efficiently meet the needs of the children and families who become our guests, however briefly they may stay.

The many physical components of the structure enable the implementation of a well-rounded program of services that integrate within the space to enable our skilled staff to provide choices that are simple to understand and access.

One such component is the Omni Port. It’s a small theater that will ultimately become an important Tijuana venue, as it evolves into a full-fledged Performing Arts Center.
